Cite
A personal library at cite.michaelhiscock.com. Save a note, a file, or a URL. Ask a question. The answer has to cite a chunk you stored, or it is refused.
01 / 03
A question, with the cited passage next to the answer.
Cite is one account and one library. Notes, pages, and files — .txt, .md, or .pdf, up to 10 MB — are chunked, then retrieved with keyword search and local embeddings. Chat and embeddings run through Ollama on the machine: qwen2.5 and nomic-embed-text. There is no second model provider.
If nothing clears the cutoff, the model is not called. A citation the model invented is dropped, and an answer with no remaining citation is replaced. Another person’s document is a 404. URL fetch rejects private, loopback, and link-local addresses.
